My name is George Psarakis and I am a freelance developer,
specializing in systems development, Web applications and administrative tasks such as system maintenance,
database administration (MySQL mainly), monitoring and automation.
At the University, my primary studies were in Mechanical Engineering,
during which I began to work intensely with Fortran 90 to build
programs which modelled and solved Fluid Dynamics phenomena using Computational Methods.
After a few years, I became interested in SQL, Web Development and
Linux administration and started working on this route.
At the time, I am working mostly on web applications using PHP, MySQL & jQuery, administrative scripting (using mostly Python but also CLI PHP & Perl), advancing my knowledge in MySQL & SphinxSearch and Linux systems.
